There are many possible implications here, but the biggest one is not that our universe is an actual data transmission of some kind.

To my mind this does not just suggest the obvious, that it is all code. That is true, but trivial. What is really suggested is that the coding has a data transmission correction process. This is yet another neat trick for the subatomic level showing ties to the rudiments of consciousness. For those that insist that the implication is that the universe, including ourselves, are a simulation, I must respond that we clearly pass the Turing test and are indistinguishable from real humans. This makes the simulation argument moot because it becomes a perfect emulation.

I think you’ve made a very obvious mistake in your argument against the simiulation scenario. If you and I are just computer simulations of entities, how would you be able to make the argument that we are identical to “humans”. The arguement could be made to prove that in OUR simulation we emulate perfectly what the “codes” tell us to simulate, but this tranforms the argument into one about us having freewill or not.

In one model I suppose the projection from the holosphere that has conserved the information from previous iterations might not be the the compete history repeated, but something more along the lines of operating systems. Maybe something akin to wave guides at various levels on which everything rides.
